Jose L. Ruiz, MD

Jose L. Ruiz, MD, is an ear, nose & throat (ENT) specialist, board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Ruiz earned his Doctor of Medicine and did his surgical residency at the University of Puerto Rico’s School of Medicine. He has been serving Central Florida, in the specialty of Otolaryngology, for more than 28 years. He sees patients for a wide variety of conditions of the head and neck including diagnosis of ear, nose and throat disorders, head and neck medicine and surgery, medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease, surgical treatment of facial cancers, eyelid surgery, surgical treatment for snoring and sleep apnea, facial cosmetic surgery, allergy testing and immunotherapy, complete hearing evaluations for children and adults, and evaluation of dizziness and balance problems. He has served in many other professional roles including Captain in the Medical Corps of the United States Army National Guard, emergency department physician, and medical director of a surgical center. Dr. Ruiz is a member of the Florida Society of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Florida Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Age Management Medicine Group and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
